Adding on to this, there are (useable) sidewalk concerns all over the city outside of the historic center and the slightly-less-dense West Hyattsville. E.g., Hamilton Street, Gallatin Street/40th Place, etc.

It seems that pedestrian safety could be prioritized more with strategic road dieting and addition of one-ways, even if it is at the expense of the usefulness of some of these roads for (mostly cut-through) traffic.
