    I agree with renaming the park; HOWEVER, what I am further concerned about, which is not addressed at all, is the CONTINUED effect of racial residential segregation that WILLIAM PINKNEY MAGRUDER'S policy has had on Hyattsville. There is a clear lack of diversity in home ownership as the majority of home owners are Caucasian (NAR 2019). One would hope the Race and Equity Commission has examined this fact and makes suggestions for righting this wrong. Home ownership is largely Caucasian.
