I am strongly in favor of the Wehrlein development for the WSSC building. Twenty years ago good developers proposed projects (senior housing, artist live work space, school).Community uproar divided the community and left many reluctant to be involved in the public process.Hopefully this discussion does not do the same as we can see the result: a building left in disrepair for 20 years. Wehrlein is a quality developer. They have made major changes - downsizing, an option for a school. Vote Yes!

I strongly recommend the Council not approve the original and proposed revised Magruder Pointe plan. The City should be soliciting projects consistent with the priorities in quality of life issues raised by citizens for the City as a whole, especially in light of proximity to Magruder Park and related activities. This proposal diminishes future possibilities to enhance city-wide community building activities. Open space is essential.

Can't attend.Working.Had submitted comment.Sometimes a city has to bite the bullet and realize- if it WANTS to keep desirable aspects of it's community,it can't destroy them & then pretend they're Still There!High density development+side-streets through Wine&Johnson NO.Environ&flood plain reasons, impossible a traffic Crittenden & Gallatin Sts.Widening changes entire area!Streets then are short-cuts more than now!Future owners would expect access both ways!& TELL THEM THEY'RE ON A FLOODPLAIN!!
